Centre for Development Action (CDA) is a nonprofit organization that aims to establish an equitable society in Bangladesh by enhancing comprehensive development through its research, policy advocacy, and program interventions. CDA was registered under the Trust Act 1882 (Deed No. IV Book 6/19) in 2019.

About CDA
Centre for Development Action (CDA) is a nonprofit organization that aims to establish an equitable society in Bangladesh by enhancing comprehensive development through its research, programs and policy advocacy. CDA was registered on 20 March, 2019 under the Trust Act 1882 (Deed No. IV – 6/2019; amended Deed No.VI – 1/2021), Directorate of Registration, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh has made commendable progress in many development indicators over the past decades, although there still exists uneven development. Because of this uneven development, a large section of the society stands denied and deprived of basic entitlements that are essential to maintain a minimum standard of living. What We Do
As a thematic focus, CDA has decided to work in the fields of health, family planning, maternal & child health, occupational health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), education, gender, environment & climate action, disaster management, disability and elderly population and agriculture.

The overall aim of research is to create new knowledge to address problems that people have been undergoing in particular geographic areas for years.
